Happy Birthday to My Honey!

Don't look shocked...I know I don't usually post unless it's a DT post, but I do actually have a bit of time today to blog about some cards I've made recently JUST FOR FUN or for a reason other than as a DT card!  Today is my hubby's birthday and so I have made two a card for him and Hundie made one for her daddy. (She hates it when I try to take credit for her work.) ;)

Here's the card I made for him~

Detail~

For these fabulous challenges~

I've used patterned paper by Echo Park, liquid pearls by Ranger, sequins by Darice, a glitter gel pen by Sakura, twine by We R Memory Makers, and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.

Okay, here's HUNDIE'S card
(Yes, I really made it...don't tell her I told you!)~

Detail~

For these fabulous challenges~

Isn't she a great colorer?  Did you ever know a puppy who could make such a darling card? ;)  She's very proud of it...even though she needed my help to finish up the sentiment. :)  I used a digi by Di's Digi Stamps, patterned paper by Echo Park, sentiment from a dollar set, and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek!  I hope you join in the fun of these great challenges and that you take some time to create today!  HUGS and happy stamping friends!

Both of your cards are great! The circles on your first card are really neat. I like how you added layers to the circle itself instead of stamping something on it. Thanks for playing along with us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday this week.

Your first card:
This is such an original and fun design, great use of circles and love that striped background and stitching. Very candy-like!
Your second card:
Adorable image and love the details of the colorful circles.
Two really fun and great cards, Mynnette! I'm sure your hubby's going to love them!

I think your birthday cards are great. What a good idea to use mostly primary colours and geometric shapes on a male card.
(... and I have to admit that I was so relieved when I realized that Hundie is your dog and NOT your daughter)
